Every project starts with a free site survey and ends with a walkthrough. No two jobs are the same, so we quote each one properly, in writing.

Building work varies too much for menu prices, so we do it the old-fashioned way: we look, we measure, and we write it down.

Free site survey

We come out, measure up, and talk through what you want and what the house will actually allow. Honest advice, even when the answer is "you don't need us".

Step Two

Itemised quotation

A written quote broken down by stage, so you can see exactly where the money goes. Compare it line by line against anyone else.

Step Three

Staged payments

You pay as each stage is signed off, never upfront for work that has not happened yet. If it is not in the quote, you do not pay for it.

No day rates sprung on you, no vague estimates. The number on the quote is the number you pay, and any change is agreed in writing before it happens.

Why Taff

Builders who act like neighbours

Most of our work comes from streets we have already built on. That is not a marketing line, it is how a firm like ours survives: one good extension in Pontcanna leads to the neighbour's loft in Roath, and word travels fast in Cardiff.

We are based on Cowbridge Road East in Canton, and we work the houses we know: Victorian terraces with their quirks, 1930s semis, and the new builds going up around Cardiff Bay. We know which walls are load-bearing before we open them, and which streets need the parking sorted with the neighbours first.

You will see the same faces from the first morning to the last snag. No day-labour merry-go-round, no vanishing for a fortnight, and a site you could walk your mother through at 5pm.
